Julia's Jars will now concentrate on raising money for a single mother and her children. $500.00 is needed and $125.00 has been raised!! Here is their bio, taken from the Freedom for Friendship blog: This is our newest family, Lucia and her five children. One of many widows in northern Guatemala, Lucia struggles daily to feed her children. School starts in January. We want to help the older boys and their sister gain weight with much needed food donations, and to ensure that they are able to afford school fees and supplies when the new school year starts.
